Khushi Bhardwaj is a psychometrist supporting psychological assessment services under the supervision of Dr. Nalini Iype and other psychologists at The Savi Centre. Since 2023, she has assisted psychologists in the assessment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as psychoeducational and psychodiagnostic assessments with children, youth, and adults.
In her role, Ms. Bhardwaj collaborates with the assessing psychologist during the data collection phase of the assessment. This includes administering and scoring a variety of standardized testing measures, and providing objective observations from her interactions with clients. She aims to help make the assessment experience comfortable and respectful of each individual’s needs. Ms. Bhardwaj encourages clients to approach sessions in a manner that feels authentic to them, facilitating a better understanding of their strengths and challenges. She values clear communication and collaboration with both clients and clinicians to support a smooth assessment process.
Ms. Bhardwaj holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) from Carleton University, with a concentration in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health. Her undergraduate research examined the relationship between environment and well-being, including a thesis exploring cross-cultural differences in human-nature connection and its associations with well-being, pro-environmental behaviour, eco-anxiety, and conceptualizations of nature. She is committed to ongoing professional development under the guidance of her supervisor and in accordance with best practice standards. Ms. Bhardwaj plans to pursue further graduate training in clinical psychology, with the goal of becoming a registered clinical psychologist.
