Dr. Holly Echlin, C. Psych

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Holly Echlin is a registered clinical psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Her work focuses on clarifying diagnostic profiles, identifying cognitive and learning strengths and challenges, and offering thoughtful, individualized recommendations to support individuals across home, school, and occupational settings.


Dr. Echlin completed her doctoral training with research examining the relationship between repetitive mild traumatic brain injuries and markers of possible accelerated brain aging. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.


She has trained and worked in a range of hospital, school, and community-based settings, including Toronto Western Hospital’s Tourette Syndrome Neurodevelopmental Clinic, the Hematology and Oncology program at The Hospital for Sick Children, York University Psychology Clinic, and the Centre for Interpersonal Relationships. During her residency, she gained extensive experience in assessment and consultation across programs such as the Dual Diagnosis Consultation Outreach Team, Dual Diagnosis Consulting Program, Limestone District School Board, and Community Brain Injury Service in Kingston, Ontario.


Dr. Echlin provides assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, and diagnostic evaluations. She has particular experience working with neurodevelopmental conditions, learning differences, and complex clinical presentations involving anxiety, mood, trauma, and executive functioning difficulties. Her approach to assessment is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in understanding the whole person, integrating multiple sources of information to develop a clear and meaningful understanding of each individual.


She is committed to ensuring that assessment findings are both clinically rigorous and practically useful. Her reports are designed to offer clear, actionable recommendations, while helping individuals and families feel better understood and supported in navigating learning, development, and well-being.
